With musical versatility spanning decades and genres, the Burton Brothers Band is the ultimate crowd-pleaser for all generations. Brothers Alex, Matt, and Anthony Burton are third-generation performers, continuing a proud family legacy of entertainment. Their grandfather was a regular at Sydney’s historic Hero of Waterloo, and their father, Roy Burton, is a club scene legend known for his powerful voice and charismatic presence. Roy famously outperformed the Gibb brothers (before they became the Bee Gees) in a 1960s Battle of the Bands and enjoyed a long career performing with the acclaimed duo Burton and Taylor. The brothers got their start as Wicked Choice, a youth band that became finalists in YouthRock—the same competition that launched Silverchair. They recorded at the legendary Alberts Studios, where Aussie icons like AC/DC and The Angels cut their teeth. Their sessions were engineered by David Price, known for his work with INXS and The Screaming Jets. Wicked Choice shared the stage with acts like Ammonia and Tumbleweed, playing to crowds of up to 5,000.



In 2023, with the encouragement of their longtime drummer and manager David Luschwitz, the brothers reunited to form the Burton Brothers Band. David’s influence was instrumental in shaping their sound and direction before his passing in 2024. Before he left, he personally selected the band’s new drummer—his final gift to the group.At the heart of their rhythm is Tommy Ivanovski, a seasoned session drummer with decades of experience. More than a timekeeper, Tommy is the honorary fourth brother—bringing world-class feel, energy, and precision to every show.From pubs and parties to clubs and community events, the Burton Brothers Band delivers more than just music—they bring the good times.
